I wonder if fsphub can change the military time default, people won't want to convert time like that. There should be an easier way to share as well people tend to ignore events if they aren't reminded regularly.

Attention brave fsphub pioneers! After seeing the Alt Expo talk I have decided to bring my non techy abilities back to fsphub. I have identified a serious lack of puppies and kitty cats. We need all kinds of puppies and kitties, perferably those that role on their back and make funny faces. Please reach out to your local rent a kitten facility in your area right now to correct this urgent matter for the sake of Hubzila users everywhere :)

I use Snooze This Tab on chrome a lot. Lets you schedule a website to pop up at a certain time, once, daily, etc. So anything I want to check daily I put to pull up automatically at 7am.

I don't see a good way of sending invites and getting people to join fsp hub, the big complaint I had with MeWe was not enough people to warrant checking in. Maybe there's a way fsphub can make it easier for people to join and advertise in the future.

Pretty cool isn't it, beards are now an option for anyone following Asatru in the military now. Allowing hammers on gravestones and Asatru on dogtags was our last biggest victory. The hardest thing for us will be allowing public worship spaces on bases as we aren't real into big overly organized groups and priest classes like other churches.

The military's prohibition of beards largely dates back to World War I and the introduction of chemical warfare. Soldiers were no longer permitted to wear beards because they got in the way of gas masks.

So that is where clean-cut came from. I thought it was a culture thing.

Unlike Sikhs, Norse pagans are not required to wear beards as part of their faith

Yep beards break the seals on gas masks but you can use full face masks. Yes Asatru doesn't really have dogmas on dress or style, we are very supportive of individualistic relationship with deities so our traditions are quite diverse and varied between regions groups and individuals. Our ancestors did have beards though so many of us connect to them by doing the same, especially those who follow a warrior path. However heros like Njal a law man was beardless so it's not a rule for all.

I like the quick and ability to give a variety of feedback on the posts thumbs up/down and faces are quicker and easier than FB which is a nice plus.
